Normally I am not much of an alarmist on these topics, but a little knowledge and caution can be smart. Two ways to reduce your exposure to radiation: Buy a low radiation phone from the list Further complicating the issue is there are two divisions of radiation non-ionizing and ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation has ability to remove electrons from their orbit, so are less destructive. Mobile phones emit the non-ionizing radiation. More from the EPA Apparently cell phones, radios, TV's are the non-ionizing. So, like usual, do some reading and form your own conclusions. |
