They have taken steps to close the doors now. Your company may not be so lucky. Banks are coming back and pinning the losses on customers, saying they should have protected their computers from infection. Consider doing on-line banking from a dedicated computer that is disconnected from the internet except for banking. Netbook computers would do the job quite nicely for around $300. Its just too easy to get infected these days to rely on good browsing habits and your anti-virus software. |
